2024 IBADAN CULTURAL FESTIVAL
The Ibadan Cultural Festival (Ibadan Week) is an annual week long programme of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII). The programme is meant to showcase to the world that Ibadan is made up of great men and women as well as people of great standard in terms of human capacity and developmental projects. The festival is coordinated by the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), the umbrella body of all organisation, clubs, and society of ibadan origin both in Nigeria and Abroad.Â
The Ibadan Cultural Festival Planning Committee is saddled with the humongous responsibility of coordination an exciting and colourful celebration each year. Membership is picked across all constituent member clubs of CCII.
2024 Ibadan Cultural Festival Planning Committee is chaired by Balogun Gaphar Ojetola. He had previously successfully coordinated an ocassious ceremony for the Ibadan Week 2022 and now re appointed due to his successful track record.

PRE EVENTS
The 2024 Ibadan Cultural Festival (Ibadan Week) started in January with pre-event which is the decoration of different personlalities with the title of Grand Ambassador of Ibadan Culture in recognition of their active participation and commitment in matters of interest of Ibadanland especially Ibadan Culture and Tradition.
This year pre-events started with the decoration of Dr. Salami Dikko, the Chairman and Sole Administrator of Pacesetter Transport Services, as Grand Ambassador of Ibadan Culture (GAIC).Â
Later on different persons were also decorated as GAIC. They includes:
1. Oloye Saheed Oladele (GAIC), the Baameko of Ibadanland.
2. Alhaja Basirat Oluwatoyin Arisekola(GAIC) (Nee Adebisi Idi-Ikan).
3. Hon. Sikiru Sanda (GAIC), Executive Chairman, Egbeda Local Government.
4. Chief (Mrs.) Idowu Lawal (GAIC), CCII BoT Member.
5. Alhaja Simiat Larodo (GAIC);
6. Mogaji Kunle Ismaheel Shodeinde (GAIC);
7. Mogaji Kadiri Adewale (GAIC), Mogaji Ile Olofa,
2024 GRAND AMBASSADORS OF IBADAN CULTURE​
THE FLAG-OFF
The flag-off ceremony for the 2024 Ibadan Cultural Festival (Ibadan Week) holds on the 19th February, 2024 at Asiwaju Bode Amao Hall, Ibadan House, Oke Aremo Ibadan where the Ibadan Culturl Festival Planning Committee Chairman Balogun Gaphar Ojetola highlighted the different programmes lined up for this years event and subsequently the date of the programmes were fixed to start from Monday 14th April, 2024 to Sunday 20th April, 2024. This date was later changed due to the demise of the Olubadan of Ibadanland Oba Mahood Ishola Balogun (Alli Iwo II) who died in the month of march and a new monarch has to be coronated before the Ibadan Week Grand Final is to take place.Â
The Committee Later resorted to staggered form of programme and this in a way also had beauty and valour to the whole programmes, thus making it a successful celebration from the start to the end.f
The following were the programmes scheduled for the main events:
1. Inter Local Government Debate Competition (Ibadan Got Talent): Primary School Category, Secondary School Category, and Tertiary     Institution Essay Competition.Â
2. Sport Competitions: Football (Male and Female Category), Ayo Olopon, Table Tennis.
3. Orekelewa Brain Beauty PageantÂ
4. Stage Play (Balogun Osungbekun)
5. All Ibadan Youth Day.
6. Amala/Fuji Fiesta
7. Business Luncheon
 8. Ibadan Conference/Town Hall Meeting
9. Grand Finale
